On Monday we took the missionaries to Kota Brastagi to visit the Buddhist temple there. It looked pretty much the same this time as it did last December when we were there before. But this time Elder and the young Elders walked down another path that they had in the garden area that went out into a fairly large valley area, which was all landscaped and cared for with water features, there was also a bridge over the valley. I thought it was a nice addition, even if it was there the time before and we just missed finding a way to get to it. We got the missionaries home before 2 and headed to our apartment so the AC guy could come work on the drain for the AC in our bedroom. We decided we were tired of keeping a big bowl under it to catch the condensation from it, and having to be careful opening the door, so you didn't move the bowl. Well we got there about 5 minutes before he did, and it took them about an hour to service the unit and unclog the drain line for it. He also poured a bunch of drain cleaner down the line, then followed with fresh water to rinse it out good. So the system is working good again. They only wanted Rp50,000, less than $5, so we gave him Rp100,000, cause we are sure the Condo service charge would have been more than that. We spent the rest of the day on laundry and doing some family history.

On Tuesday we got to the church early so Elder could let the workers in who were working on the door, and on the ceiling that was falling down in the foyer, pretty much all we did was stay in the building while they worked. I went to Carrefour and bought the Elders a new refridgerator since theirs had stopped working and also a new water despenser that has cold water in it. They will deliver it this evening.
This morning Bro Manalu's becak broke on his way to the apartment, so Elder told him to go get it fixed, and Elder Tucker and I spent the day at the church. We finally got Lya's address and Elder sent her records to Malaysia. Elder also got a guy to cut the grass today, he was across the street working on the yard there.
On Thursday evening we took Elder Pujianto and Zollinger up to the north to see the Harefa families, and after we finished we finally took them the home of the Sarumahas, and got them introduced there.
On Friday we had DM, Lunch, and then we went to buy a printer for the church, but only left a down payment, and it will be sent from another store for pickup tomorrow. We helped set up for and had a Branch Family Home Evening. We did manage to have a number of guests attend which we weren't sure about since it rained most of the afternoon.
On Saturday we of course cleaned up at the church. Elder replaced a couple of light bulbs in the building. He then went to Sun Plaza to pick up the printer we purchased for the branch, the old printer jammed every 3rd page you tried to print, and took 1 extra sheet of paper for every page you tried to print. So we got the printer that the facilities manager told us to get, the only problem is we are having a hard time finding the drivers for it, it is supposed to be plug and play with windows 7 & 8. We had lots of rain today, we weren't sure how many we were going to have for English but ended up with about 15. We took a photo of the whole group including the younger class, to go along with all the other classes in the mission to satisfy a request from the office of new President of Indonesia, we assume to see what type of things are being done by the missionaries they are allowing into the country. Rick and I were suppose to go to dinner with Pres Rico and Emma, but they ended up canceling because they had to going to a family dinner at the last minute. So we took the young missionaries out to dinner at Koki Sunda's, as both sisters are leaving this coming Monday.

It was raining again this morning. I think we are headed into the rainy season. Attendance at church wasn't great. About 45. Partly due to rain and just not as many investigators as we have had in the past. Took a taxi home also today since Elder stayed later than Pres. Rico. I helped Dearly get part of her PEF paperwork emailed in. The new program starts today in Indonesia. She and her sister are going in under the new plan. Once we got home we had a quiet evening. I was even able to do one batch of indexing on family search.
